The Three Sisters

Meehni, Wimlah, and Gunnedoo

For an eternity, I have wanted to see the Three Sisters with my own eyes and the image featured above was taken while walking from Katoomba Falls to Echo Point.

We arrived in the Blue Mountains on Tuesday afternoon and spent all day yesterday exploring a (very small) section of Jamison Valley near Katoomba.

It was the most amazing experience, I feel as though I have found a slice of heaven on earth.

Here is the entire image, you can clearly see the newly eroded orange sandstone and the smallest hint of azure in the mountain ranges behind.

We are staying at the Blue Mountains Tourist Park – Katoomba Falls and have decided to remain here for a week.  There are so many thing to do, sights to see, and places to go, we’ll need at lest that much time to accomplish enjoying a fraction of this beautiful area.

Hopefully I will be able to photograph the Three Sisters on a cloud free day.

    1. Hi Lily,

Thank you for the feedback, I have been apprehensive over changing my theme. Oddly enough, I was using the Chateau theme until the Blogging 101 ‘Themes’ assignment. I must say I love the look of your blog.

I'd love to hear your thoughts . . .
