The Freycinet and Maria Island

Four Days, So Much Already Seen

Just a quick update to say that Dean and I have been so busy over the last four days and it’s wonderful to be on the road again.

We’ve been on an amazing, yet exhausting, walk in The Freycinet National Park and spent today on a cruise around Maria Island, another incredible National Park here in Tasmania.  I have hundreds of photos to sort through to pick the ‘best of’ to share and I’m disappointed I’m not able to do that right now.

I would like nothing more than to sit here tonight and type up my thoughts regarding what we’ve been doing, but alas, I’m running out of power.  My battery percentage is creeping towards zero at an alarming rate and I’ve no way of charging the laptop.

This is our second night ‘free camping’ in Triabunna, the gateway to Maria Island, and we are heading to Port Arthur tomorrow, where we will be in a caravan park with precious electricity to charge up all manner of electronic equipment, not just my laptop.

Stay tuned.  I’ll share my thoughts and photos as soon as I can.

By the way, the featured image above is a photo of Wineglass Bay taken from the Wineglass Bay Lookout in The Freycinet National Park.
