I must admit, some of our selfies have been rather disastrous – crocked, blurry, sections of (either) head missing – you name it, but that can always happen, and certainly does when the device you’re using is not a smartphone.
I’ll admit those errors can happen using a smartphone too, but I believe the chances are much higher when taking selfies with a DLSR considering there isn’t a screen pointed towards you to view the image before clicking.
Dean has become very good at taking DSLR selfies though as the above, unedited image attests. Would you agree? There’s no enhancement, no cropping or straightening of the image. It’s just as it was taken with absolutely no editing at all.
(As a matter of course, I very rarely edit any of my photos.)
Wow… Pretty good! What a great looking couple.

I used to have a camera that had a screen that revolved and I could see myself in the screen. My new camera’s screen does not move 180 degrees. But I’m so amazed at the phone’s photos, so I don’t worry about the DLSR now. Good shot of you two!!

Thanx Bad Fish. Neither of us can take a decent shot with our very old phones. All the same, Dean is quite proud of his efforts with his DLSR.

Well that makes me feel good. I always believe I don’t look good in photos. Just as well Dean works wonders with the camera 🙂

Great job of the selfie, not bad Pinnacles in the background either.

Yes, Dean’s skill at taking the DLSR selfie is improving.
There’ll be more about The Pinnacles to follow.

I look forward to seeing your photos of The Pinnacles, we spent a bit of time in Cervantes because we had car problems.

That’s no good, but not a bad place to have to sit around.
I’ve not filtered through our photos yet, but will get to it soon and hope you like what I select.
