This weeks Photo of the Week was taken Tuesday
(April 5, 2016)

I know I posted this photo the other day when I wrote about us going Into The Jungle of the Daintree National Park, but this photo is so good it’s worthy of being the Photo of the Week this week. I didn’t take this photo, Dean did, and taking into consideration all the camera problems he’s been experiencing lately, it’s a real gem.
Boyd’s Forest Dragon is found in the rainforests of the World Heritage Listed Wet Tropics of Queensland and with an average body length (for males) of about 160 mm (6.3 inches), with the tail adding another 325 mm (12.8 inches), this is the largest lizard we’ve encountered on our travels. Females are slightly smaller than the males.
I think he’s gorgeous. The look on that face says it all.
Good shot Dad! Looks like you were able to get really close! xx PS He definitely looks sassy!
