This week’s Photo of the Week was taken yesterday.

The loveliest thing about being so close to home is seeing our eldest daughter Kate.

Ok, so is wasn’t only me and Kate who enjoyed lunch together. Kate and (her man) Kal drove up to the Sunshine Coast (from Brisbane) and the four of us went out to lunch at the Alex Surf Club.
As would be expected, we sat there chatting for ages, overlooking the beach and watching everyone enjoying the water. The day was lovely, the sky blue, the water clean and glassy and large numbers of sailboats were out in the calm conditions.
The food was wonderful, the atmosphere in the club was great, but . . .
Because we’d not seen Kate and Kal for more than 14 months, nothing, and I mean NOTHING could hold a candle to being reunited with loved ones.
Clare, that is such a great picture! Must have felt good to get your hands on her!
