A New Name and A New Direction
When I wrote about Closing the Loop a little over a week ago, I mentioned that this blog was always meant to my thoughts about Our Trip of a Lifetime – a single location where I could keep everyone up to date on where we were and what we were doing while travelling around Australia.
And yet, at the same time, I was also using another blog where I have been posting ‘a galaxy of poetry, short stories, tall tales, and other assorted creative items’. All 145 of them. (Ok, that number doesn’t sound like that much, but trust me, it is and a lot of hard work and thought went into every one of them.)
I’ve loved every minute of sharing my thoughts about our adventure, the places we found ourselves lost, and the fun we had along the way. I especially loved sharing photos of our amazing country.
Equally, I’ve loved every minute of being creative, writing poetry (including Haiku), as well as a few short stories and my spin on entries in the weekly WordPress Photography Challenges.
Now, however, it’s time to consolidate and move forward with only one blog. I’ve given it a lot of thought and I’ve tried to be creative in combining Clare & Dean and My Creative Cosmos and in doing so I’ve come up with . . .
A Galaxy of Thoughts and Creativity
The trick now is to attend to the changes on this blog and that’s easy enough. The harder part will be importing the content across from My Creative Cosmos. I’d hate to lose those twinkling stars I’ve already shared, but all in good time and I’ve plenty of time to attend to that.
Most importantly, I’ll be implementing the changes over the next day or so and if you have any links to Clare & Dean, you’ll need to update them with the new address: https://clarescosmos.com
I look forward to continuing to share my thoughts and creativity.
Just a quick update, something I’ve just discovered while attending to the changes.
Apparently I cannot alter my blog address so, for now, it remains as:
(Technically it’s a title change on Clare & Dean, not a new blog – and I’m ok with that.)
