This week’s Photo of the Week was taken this morning.
(June 6, 2016)
When we were on Australia’s west coast, I said I would never get sick of seeing the Sun set over the ocean. And I didn’t, but now that we’re back where we belong on the east coast, I can’t get enough of watching the Sun rise over the ocean, and this morning it really turned on the charm.

Dean and I think we’ve been very lucky over the last few of days. We battened down the hatches and waited, copped a bit of rain for a few days and then got rocked by some fierce winds yesterday. It’s still windy now, but I can’t stop thinking how much worse it could have been.
We’ve been very lucky indeed and our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by the severe weather system that continues to lash the east coast of Australia.
(Read more and about the storms here and what made them so devastating here.)
Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know, I wish someone could educate me on how to tell if it’s a sunrise shot or a sunset shot. I never can figure it out. Same with Spiritual Dragonfly and Opher’s pix… There ought to be a way, right? Beautiful colors, btw.

I wish someone would educate me also, but here’s a thing – IF in the future I post a photo of the Sun appearing somewhere near the horizon AND the horizon is filled with the ocean – it’s a sunrise 🙂
