This week’s Photo of the Week was taken yesterday.

Yesterday we visited the Diamond Festival of Orchids hosted by the Nambour Orchid Society. As soon as we walked into the room I said: “I can’t believe I forgot my camera!” Luckily Dean’s camera was in the car and my iPhone in my pocket.
The orchids on display were exquisite, to say the least, and I’ll post a few more photos later, but to begin with, I couldn’t go past this gorgeous shot taken by Dean. I think he captured the delicate detail in the petals perfectly and those gorgeous soft pink hues just make me want to go “Ah!”.

He did! Those were the very words I said as I looked at the photo, how delicate! Gorgeous…looking forward to seeing the others…what a beautiful show that must have been!
