This week’s Photo of the Week was taken yesterday

I was thrilled yesterday when I was able to get in close to this lovely rose.
Normally I have a lot of trouble zooming in to take a photo, after all, my camera is an automatic camera, designed for ‘point and click’ type photography, and I’m fully reliant upon its ability to do the focusing once I get in close to something.

Unfortunately, most times I get in too close, it won’t focus, and I’m resigned to zooming out.
So again, I was thrilled I could get in closer than usual to this lovely rose. Below are a few more photos I took of the same bloom.
