I guess I’m not alone in loving the Moon, but since I discovered my camera can take a (semi) decent photo, I’ve been zooming in and capturing images.

I don’t have any fancy equipment, just a ‘point and click’ type camera, and I’m not fussy about the time of day when I choose to point and click either. Sometimes it’s at moonrise, other times it’s at moonset, and then other times it’s in the middle of the day.
Regardless of when I’ve taken the photo, I’m really happy with what I’ve captured over the last year.
I will never get sick of photographing the Moon.
Updated for my wonderful friend Denise who told me not to miss the Moon on August 19. I didn’t.

I hope you also get tonight’s moon “19 August 2016” if you take the shot, it should turn out as beautiful as the others. cheers D

Excellent work! Playing with focus/depth is always good too – and you look like you’ve definitely got the hang of it! I could certainly pick up a few tricks. 🙂
