This week’s Photo of the Week was taken today.
(September 12, 2016)
I’m a little late with today’s Photo of the Week, but our week has been crazy and when Shelley arrived from Melbourne, every ounce of crazy became even more so.
It’s hard to believe that’s even possible, but it was, and it is.
We’ve just arrived back from a morning on the beach and I had to share this photo I took of Shelley as she surveyed her surroundings. I took the colour out of it and love the black and white feel.

Shelley just loved being at the beach. She lives in the heart of Melbourne and doesn’t always get the time, or the chance, to sit where the ocean meets the land, let alone do so on a surf beach while her daddy tries to catch a wave.
Here’s the original photo of her soaking everything up.

Why not let me know which photo you like more.
Sooooo pretty! I have been absent… HOW ARE YOU????? I will try to stop by and read but time is of the essence. I have tree people coming to take down yet another tree on my LakeHouse property! So… I need to have coffee and prepare for the day. I will be back soon!

My thoughts too. There’s something mysterious about removing the colour – sometimes.

True! Black and white softens those edges just like moonlight 😊
