International Observe the Moon Night!
According to their website: International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation, appreciation, and understanding of our Moon and its connection to NASA planetary science and exploration, as well as the cultural and personal connections we all have with Earth’s nearest neighbor.
But anyone who ‘knows’ me is well aware of the fact that I need no excuse or specific reason to gaze at the Moon. To be honest, I can’t stop looking at it.

I love the Moon, and on the InOMN website, I found a link to the following – the Moon Phase and Libration, 2016 (South Up).
This movie is from the NASA Scientific Visualisation Studio and I think it’s beautiful. The images are from hourly intervals, and here is the same video with data added.
If you’d like to watch the north up phase and libration, you can click here.
I knew that was today. I was going to go outside and dance naked by Drollery said the neighbors would probably call the funny farm if I did that. So I thought better of it! 😀 The moon always reminds me of the movie “Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood!” LOL

You shouldn’t worry about what the neighbours think. 😊
