This week’s Photo of the Week was not taken last week.

Photographed while we were house sitting at Ridgewood, this is not a very clear image, but good enough to show the bright colours of the Rose-crowned Fruit Dove. I only saw this one, it was way off in the distance, and I had to zoom to the maximum on my camera.
These doves normally inhabit dense rainforest so it was a treat to see it in a sparse eucalypt canopy.
