After sneaking out of bed to photograph the partial penumbral eclipse on Tuesday morning, at the opposite end of the day, I stopped by to collect a friend on the way past and headed down to the beach to watch the full Moon rising.
It was a sight to behold as always, but it wasn’t until I got home that I discovered my camera was playing up and I had very few shots worth sharing. At least the following photo of the moonlight reflecting on the water is.

Can you see and feel the movement int he water? I can.
Here are some other shots I managed to get. I thought the Moon looked amazing. But then again, I always think that and hope these photos do the Moon justice.
There’s also this one where everything is shown much darker than it actually was.

Finally, on Wednesday morning I had to step outside and catch one more shot.

I love being a lunatic.

I’ve had trouble with moonshots too. Of course, I only use my phone camera anymore. Ha! I’m impressed you got out of bed to catch the moment though. Good on you!

Thanx Lorie. My previous post “Just Me and the Moon” had better shots, though I must admit, I don’t use my phone camera. 🙂
