It was overcast yesterday and a little drizzly, so I didn’t chance to take my new camera into the garden.  This morning it’s raining which is a good thing, don’t get me wrong and I hope it is widespread and out farmers out west are getting some of it.

It does mean however, there is no chance of stepping outside today either, so I’ve dug into my archives and found this photo for Becky’s ‘In the Pink’ Square in September photo challenge today.

Variegated Geranium photographed April 6, 2018

I’m about to have lots of geraniums in flower, so I’ll save the botany lesson for when I can get into the garden and take some pictures.  I have four – this variegated pink, a pale pink, a red, and a rose scented variety that’s never bloomed – all of them were gifts from friends when we moved into our new home just over 18 months ago.
