As I sit here looking back at a post I’ve published at this time of the year, I also came across this little treasure from December 2015:

Reading it out loud today, Dean has a good belly laugh at not just his attitude, but his antics, and I realise nothing has changed and all my efforts to get my husband to warm to the idea of Christmas are futile! 

Very futile indeed.

Is this the way life pans out as you get older?  

I don’t remember this bah humbug attitude of his when our girls were little.

But here’s the clincher – his attitude doesn’t, and won’t, spoil my fun.

I love Christmas!
