This is not what I expected to see when watering my pot plants this morning.

Is this a sign of the times? A sign that leans towards our crazy weather patterns?
I guess not, because I was just reading on Rare Plants that with the right amount of light, water and, most importantly, fertiliser, you can “get more flowers and they will last right through from January to June.”
Wow! Thank you Osmocote 🙂
I know it’s only December, making this little jewel early, and so far it’s only small, but I am delighted to be able to enjoy another flower on my Black Bat Plant for Christmas.

This is my next entry in my Christmas Time Square as part of Becky’s ‘Time’ Square in December photo challenge.
This is my catch-up post as I was late with yesterday’s.
Never even heard of this plant before! How amazing

It is Becky. I’ve had it for 18 months and, this year, I acquired a white one. I can hardly wait for it to flower.

Sometimes my fingers are just dirty 🙂 – but I did have several flowers on the black bat plant earlier this year: https://clarehoran.com/2018/05/06/the-great-bat-reveal/
