It’s Been Two Years

So often we catch ourselves asking “Where has the year gone?” or “Where did the time go?”

And it feels like that today.

Though I know a lot has happened, it is still hard to believe that Dean and I have been in our new home for two years.  More in fact as our two year anniversary was four days ago on February 9.

One look at the front garden, however, and the plants tell a story all on their own.

Ready for plants.
Perhaps not the day they were planted – but close.

Just look at them now!

Looking good 🙂

And my taste in plants is so eclectic.

There’s a pineapple growing there.

My little frangipani is not so little anymore.

And then there’s our garden at the back of the house.

It has come along in leaps and bounds.

The backyard – testing the position of pavers
The day the palms went in.

I’m glad we opted for the grey pavers and not the cream ones.

As well as grevilleas and poinsettias.

I will have to share a photo of the poinsettias when they are in flower.

The Garden now!

And finally, there’s my verticle garden.

The neighbours look close, but in all honesty, we don’t even notice.

Before the fence went in.

After the fence went in and was stained.

And now, look at the amazing display of plants I have growing there.

I love this area of my garden.

Looking at these photos, I guess I have a green thumb.

And I’m very proud of it 🙂
