My Flower of the Day

This flower is not exactly real, but it is real to me and the result of three mosiac classes.

Playing jigsaws was fun.

I found this project rather simplistic, and not at all difficult, but a wonderful starting point to learn the necessary techniques.

I am now preparing to move onto my next – a nest of three coffee tables that I am going to decorate with flowers and I’m using photos of flowers from my own garden.

For this project though, I am going to work with glass and I know that makes it a big project, but I’m having fun and enjoying learning something new.

The first table has been stripped and prepped, and I can hardly wait for the next time I attend class so I can start.
