So it’s no secret – I love to photograph the Moon.
And I have quite a collection of shots that at times, increases daily.
This photo, however, is my favourite.

And this one runs a (very) close second.

I’ll do (almost) anything to take a photo of the Moon.
I’ll stumble out of bed in the middle of the night to photograph a partial eclipse.

I’ll take photos through my telescope.

I’ll take photos during the day.

I’ll photograph it while it’s ‘blue’ (in theory, not in colour).

I’ve quite a few photos of Blue Moons – here’s another.

I’ll find it looking golden and glorious.

I’ll catch a Christmas Moon.

I’ll photograph it at apogee (its furthest point away from the Earth).

I’ll photograph it at perigee (the point of least distance to the Earth).

And I’ve caught a Super Blue Moon (but not the eclipse that made it a Super, Blue, Blood Moon)

I’ll catch it waning.

I’ll catch it waxing.

And, although I was disappointed with the photos I took,
I did catch the total eclipse of July 28, 2018.

Somehow, I don’t think I’ll stop photographing the Moon any time soon.

This is my next entry in my Blue Moon Squares as part of Becky’s ‘Blue’ Square in July photo challenge.
I’m so glad you don’t intend to stop photographing the moon, you are amazing at it 🙂
