Warmer weather, the promise of light rain, slightly longer days.
Spring is on its way, as is the promise of lots of blooms.
I believe this succulent is a type of Echeveria, perhaps Echeveria Violet Queen. It’s a grow it forward plant given to me by a lovely gentleman named Paul. I returned the favour by giving Paul a few cuttings from succulents I have that he didn’t. This is one of the best approaches to gardening.

This is my next entry for the Flower of the Day (FOTD) photo challenge hosted by Cee’s Photography.
I have been a little quiet lately, Toastmasters is taking up a lot of my time (this is not me complaining), and life, in general, has been busy, chaotic even. There’s been a lot of gardening to do, overgrown plants trimmed and tamed, existing plants repotted, new plants lovingly cared for and all the watering and fertilising – it’s been a while since we’ve had some rain, and on top of all of this, work has been demanding.
Life is slowly returning to normal and I’ll be blogging with a little more frequency soon, perhaps even sharing my venture into candle making.
