Flower of the Month – Bromeliad

Yes, this flower deserves much more than a ‘Flower of the Day’ status.

Meet Ananas comosus, my little pineapple (yes, it’s a Bromeliad) that has been growing in my front garden for over two years now, and is, at long last, starting to flower, which ultimately means, it’s bearing fruit.

As such, I’ve given it the coveted title of Flower of the Month.

Expect progress photos to appear as it develops and matures.
