Squares in January – Day 30

Sunlight’s Greeting

While Dean and I waited for our new home to be built, we spend nine months house sitting on and around the Sunshine Coast (where we now live).

In October, we had three days between one house sitting job and the next and chose to stay in a bungalow at Alexandra Headland.  Not a tough decision as Dean could walk across the road to go for a surf (when there were some waves that is).

Having just completed a three-month stint in the hinterland surrounded by trees, I had a huge desire to watch the sun rising over the water.

As usual, I was disappointed to step outside and see clouds filling the sky.

But my despondency didn’t last long.  How could it with a view like this?

Taken @ 5:26 am on October 20, 2016, just moments before sunrise.

    1. Thank you, Nancy. I do enjoy Becky’s challenges though it felt weird not posting yesterday. I even received a message from my sister saying she was looking forward to my photo in her inbox – then she realised it was February.

      1. She is fabulous indeed! Ohh that’s a lovely invite, but I’m much more of a spectator. I get to see all the pretty results without any of the hardwork! 😂
