Has it really been three years?
Yes, it has. It’s been three years today since we took possession of our new home and commenced settling into a comfortable life in Caloundra.
And to celebrate this mini-milestone, I thought I’d share some then and now photos, but mind, the weather here is terrible today. It’s overcast and miserable, raining on and off. I am not complaining, it’s just that taking photos inside the house has proven to be difficult and made even more so by the battery dying in my new camera. (Oh dear, I had to use my old one 🙂 )
I see ‘Red’ features a little more predominantly as do the plants, both inside and out.
Yes, that’s a table just for resting my handbag on 🙂
Everything now looks comfortable and ‘lived in’ and I’ve got a new approach to organising my pantry.
I see I’m not very good at replicating photos 🙂
It’s amazing how different our bedroom looks with a change of linen.
Yes, I’m a bit of a “Crazy Plant Lady” but I love the greenery in the house.
It might be three years old, but I still refer to it as our new home. It certainly still feels new and I believe it will do so for many more years to come.
I’ll try to get outside when my camera battery finishes charging.
My post from three years ago is here.
Looks lovely Claire. Wish we were a little closer, and could have an amazing “another” catch up. loving it here in Yamba, NSW., I’m ow we need the rain, however, as of today, I have just about had enough. 💦💦💦💦

Thank you, Nancy. I am a “Crazy plant lady” but they give me joy and something to do.

What I can see of your garden through the windows, has really come on in three years and I love your plants. I have a Fiddle Leaf Fig which is the same height as me and I need to make some babies from it 🙂

I’ll be really happy when my FLF is that high. I must do a feature post on them. One I purchased for $5 (that was only a tiny little half dead seedling) is now blooming and over four feet. You must tell me how to make FLF babies.
