The bees aren’t the only creatures who love my grevilleas.

When I stand still they don’t seem to notice me with my camera. Yesterday, when I was standing very still while photographing bees, several Brown Honeyeaters arrived to have their fill of nectar.
These lovely little birds flit in and out of the garden all day and I love listening to them although I’ve never recorded them singing. I guess I should because their song is lovely.
This is my next entry in Becky’s Square in April photo challenge Tops and, if you have a minute, pop over and say ‘Hi’ to Becky today – it’s her birthday.
How fabulous they are not bothered by you and your camera – what a treat

They are, Becky. On a daily basis. Now if only I could coax a few more to stay still, I’d be able t capture more feathered friends to share for your April Squares – Oh, hang on, that’s not the theme, but at least they’d be on top of something – the fence, plants, flowers 🙂

I dearly wish I could encourage an Australian Magpie into my garden. I would be thrilled.
