And Becky has announced her theme for the month – Perspective.
In Becky’s own words:
Perspective is also a word with multiple meanings, which makes it perfect for squares;
- Art – the method by which solid objects drawn or painted on a flat surface are given the appearance of depth and distance.
- Geometry – the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away and the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance.
- Point of View – a particular way of considering (looking at) something or the capacity to view things in their relative importance
- Vista – seeing something over distance or time
I’ve given this a bit of thought over the last few days and I’ve no doubt I have a multitude of photographs that highlight my point of view.
From my garden to the Moon (and everything in between) there is always something new being captured in my camera’s focal point. But I’m sure I also have lots of photos from our trip that I’ve not shared, and so, I’ll (most likely) do a little delving and see what I can find.
Here’s the first photo I came across this morning.

More than just A Fallen Twig, from my viewpoint, I saw an abstract heart 💜 and Perspective after all is all about how you look at things.

Thank you, Becky. It was perfect timing and a testament to me ‘looking down’ when out bushwalking 😊
