Here’s mine πŸ’™

Although it’s December, my house has enough festive decoration without me also applying one to my desktop. So, on that note, I’ve opted for a flower I won’t see in my garden this year.

Photo taken November 15, 2018

This gorgeous Agapanthus is planted in my front garden and, unfortunately, 2018 was the last time it flowered. November 2019 saw a vicious hail storm that tore off the flower spikes and no other flowers emerged.

This year I’ve not had a flower either and can only guess the plant is being dormant as happens sometimes. My friend Muriel told me hers was dormant for three years. I hope my Agapanthus doesn’t sleep that long.

At least I have these photos to look at and remind me how spectacular it will be next time it blooms.

Doesn’t it look wonderful in closeup?
