I’m thrilled other bloggers joined me in sharing the image they have on their desktop and encourage you to take a look at the wonderful desktop delights they’ve shared this month.

Becky was so impatient to join the fun this month she posted before I did 🙂 but that’s ok. You really must check out the gorgeous shot of a sunset over the water.
Cee shared a lovely shot of a gull – either Jonathan or Steven, not quite sure which – but this was another lovely water image.
Aletta shared a seaside photo that invoked images of picnics and evening parties in a time when gathering together was possible. Aletta said she hoped they would be able to use this place during her Summer holidays. I hope so too.
At this stage, I was beginning to think all the photos would be water themed, and then Marsha shared a shot from Woodlake Rose Garden that included a delightful rose in the foreground.
This month on Image from Finchley, Martin shared a lovely photo of a London Underground C-Stock train at Farringdon Station – a real photo this month, as opposed to (amazing) the computer-generated image he shared last month.
It was then back to the water with Sassy sharing a photo of Little Crater Lake located in Mount Hood National Forest, Oregon. But Sassy also shared another image that really made me smile – her actual desk 🙂
And finally, Karen shared a photo of the narrow which is part of the longer Alligator Gorge walk in the Flinders Ranges, making me pine for being back in a mini home and travelling around this wonderful country once again. Australia has so much to offer you could be on the road for years and not see everything.
To sign off this month, I’ve decided to follow Sassy’s example and share a photo of my entire desktop including the image assigned to my Mac’s wallpaper.

On January 15, I’ll share the new image on my desktop.
But you don’t have to wait until then.
You can join in anytime.
- Share the photo* you have set as your wallpaper;
- Provide as little or as much detail as you wish;
- Comment on my post for December or use a pingback; and
- Share the fun around 🥰

* Remember, in the interest of maintaining your personal privacy, please refrain from sharing a screenshot of your desktop and merely share the image you have set as your wallpaper.
The challenge icon can be downloaded here – or here if you’d prefer a smaller file – or here if you would like a copy of the full image used above.
what a lovely summary 😀

Awww thanks, we are. In a support bubble so all okay, but expecting national lockdown again any day now, and don’t get me started on brexit! We have nincompoops in charge 🤨

Was just reading about those nincompoops – if you were’nt crying about it, you’d have to laugh
