February 2021 Desktop Delights

Once again I find myself asking “Where has the month gone?” January came and went and now February is almost over – but not before I highlight the delightful desktop photos other bloggers have shared this month.

My dear (blogging) friend Becky shared a delightful image of an Almond Blossom because she thought it ‘appropriate for the month of love, given that Ibn-Almundim planted almond trees throughout the Algarve to bring a smile to the face of his beloved wife Gilda.

(You can read more about this Algarve legend in this post from Becky’s other blog.)

This month, Aletta sent me a bunch of flowers from her garden. I feel honoured to be blessed with flowers from halfway around the world. 💐 Thanx Aletta.

Martin, the Truck Simulator expert, shared a photo of his updated skin on Lady Galadriel, one of the trucks in his general haulage fleet. But he also shared a little back story so, by all means, take a minute to read about his victory over some technical woes.

Back to February’s unofficial theme of flowers, and Cee shared a gorgeous photo of a bearded iris – a purple bearded iris no less, making me feel very spoilt indeed.

A huge thank you to those who joined in the fun this month. And in finishing with a photo of my actual desktop, I’ve chosen to share the ambience of my study, showing how the Moon fits perfectly in keeping with the low light I enjoy so much.

(The room is brighter than this photo shows.)
