Perhaps it’s all the rain we’ve been having, perhaps it’s something else. I’m not sure, but I’m delighted to be finding green tree frogs in my garden.
Firstly, back on March 15, I chose a gorgeous photo for my desktop because I was feeling a little green with St Patrick’s Day looming.

Then we had a decent dump of rain over a week or so, and I could hear the frogs singing their joy throughout the night. They do love the wet.
On March 26, I spotted this little one on my Happy Plant. ‘Little’ being an understatement as it was anything but and would have filled then overflowed the palm of Dean’s hand.
I decide this green tree frog was Kermit and shared the photo with our girls.

Then again, two days later, on the same plant, I spotted what I believe to be a different frog, simply because it appeared to be smaller than Kermit.

Again I shared this photo with our girls and because I called this second frog Kerman – you know, Kermit’s brother – our daughter Shelley said:
Can we stop assuming the frogs are boys?
I think they might be cool gals.
I can’t argue with that.
So I decided she was HERmit . . . boom, boom!

Then this morning, I found Hermit once again curled up on/in my Happy Plant . . .

I guess a Happy Plant is well named.
(And March is Frog Month.)
oh this is so so cute – thank you for inviting me over to have a look

I went looking for Hermit today, but she was no where to be found. It feels like it’s about to rain again, so fingers crossed she’s in my Happy Plant again tomorrow morning.
