April’s Bright Squares Begins

But (technically speaking), I can’t commence until Becky publishes her first post.

That will be much later today (early evening Australian time) giving me ample opportunity to photograph something that brightened my day – as I announced back on March 21.

Nevertheless, here is something that brightened my day yesterday and it’s in response to Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge, this time hosted by Becky who selected Bright Rectangles as the theme.

So (again, technically speaking), that means my photo doesn’t have to be a square right?

Therefore it isn’t 🙂

This is a new Anthurium I acquired yesterday.

Look at those curly brats and that striking blend of red and green.

I did, and couldn’t walk past.

Placing it on the counter in my kitchen certainly brightened my day.
