Amidst all the doom and gloom this weekend has presented, some little rays of sunshine to brighten my day are still visible – albeit I had to don my gumboots and grab an umbrella before stepping outside.

We’ve had steady and constant rain for three days now and are not expected to have clear skies until Friday (April 9). Here’s hoping the rain eases up a little after today.

🙂 thank you Nancy. I can hardly wait for my new one to flower. It’s a grow it forward cutting from a friend and a lovely shade of pink. No doubt it will appear here soon.

They are so easy to grow and add so much lovely colour to my otherwise green spaces.

I must admit, it was only drizzling 😊

What I should have said was – yes, it was only drizzling, but that drizzle was heavy enough to warrant a brolly. I did step out without it but quickly stepped back in to get it knowing I would have been soaked within a minute or two ☔️

ah that kind of drizzle – not good that type! I can’t actually recall the last time we had rain here – my water butt is almost empty!

😂 all the rain they thought we would get yesterday we didn’t, but I think maybe we received at least half of it last night. It poured all night – heavy and hard – and is still raining now with that slightly heavier drizzle.
