Desktop Delights – April 2021

Thank you to everyone for joining in on the fun this month.

First up this month was Becky who shared a delightful photo of a Common Chaffinch with gorgeous golden plumage that blended so well with his/her surroundings.

Brian then chimed in with his own photo of a Scarlet Honeyeater. You’ll see he got a lot closer than I was able to.

Lisa shared a photo of an American Oystercatcher and, honestly, she could have taken that photo on any beach in Australia where we have the Pied and Sooty species.

(There was no memo issued about photographs of birds, ha, ha.)

Ladysighs shared a very bright and colourful desktop that also fit in with Becky’s Bright Squares for April.

Next up was Cee with some beautiful flowers – including a purple one. Cee captures the most amazing photos of flowers. Oh, be still my beating heart.

Martin shared a lovely poem for National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo) and some trucker wisdom stating: “You can never have too many lights!”. His desktop image complimented both admirably.

Aletta’s photo this month is a stunning shot of the view over Club Mykonos, Langebaan, South Africa. It has me yearning for an overseas holiday (big sigh).

I can hardly wait for next month and because I’ve been so busy, I’ve decided to sign off by sharing a screenshot of my desktop and not a photo of my messy desk.

I’ll be back again on May 15 with the new image on my desktop.

But you don’t have to wait until then.

You can join in anytime.

  2. Provide as little or as much detail as you wish;
  3. Comment on my post for April or use a pingback; and
