This is my entry for Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge (CMMC).
Cee’s photo is a storefront and mural in Oregon City, Oregon. She thought it had a lot of topic possibilities: storefront, building, mural, sign, mirror, reflection, window, stop sign, beige, people, parking meter, and sidewalk. But the possibilities are endless.
The words “Mirror, Mirror” appear on the door to the store and that’s what caught my attention, reminding me of some lovely places we visited on our trip around Australia.

And these were taken the day we cruised the Gordon River.
(Strahan, Tasmania)
(Again, the images are in a gallery, so click to see a larger view.)
Heading up the Gordon River and into the thick of the World Heritage Area, where the Huon Pine is found. An unusual tree found nowhere else and once (and still) prized for it unusual qualities. The beautiful reflection on the Gordon River on the way back into the harbour. From there we had to travel more than 40 kilometres (24.8 miles) to get back to Strahan. The reflection of a lone pylon with the rain and the mist rolling in.
