One tree. Very appropriate for the poem, Clare. Lots of grass. Where is that? It’s really hard to find a place that devoid of trees. 🙂

Hi Marcha, I took this photo back in March 2016 as we drove through outback Queensland, a lonely desolate place that’s mostly baron desert, but on this occasion there had been some rain, hence the green grasses. Oddly enough, two hours later, we were surrounded by trees.

Interesting. Australia is a land of many differences and surprises, isn’t it. I’ve only seen a tiny subsection of it, and it would take a lifetime to explore it all. 🙂

Absolutely. We are a land of vast extremes and in two years on the road, we barely scratched the surface.
