I’m so thrilled I’ve encouraged a small group of bloggers to share their desktops with me each month because the photos they share never cease to amaze me.
I tend to stick with images of flowers that I grow in my garden, although the Moon has made a couple of appearances and Hermit was a huge star back in March.
Here’s mine for this month πΈ

This Geranium (or Pelargonium) is growing in a basket that I’ve attached to the fence near the clothesline and, given that it flowers constantly, it provides a wonderful pop of colour in an otherwise boring area of my (our) garden.
It looks wonderful on my desktop.

This was a ‘Grow it Forward’ plant, but (sadly, now) I can’t remember who gave it to me.
My Share Your Desktop challenge is all about sharing the photo you set as your desktop or wallpaper and I’d love to see what you are looking at.

So, now it’s over to you.
- Please join in by sharing the photo* you have set as your wallpaper;
- Provide as little or as much detail as you wish;
- Either comment here with a link to your post or use a pingback so I know you have joined in the fun and I’ll visit your blog and your post and read all about your photo; and
- Share the fun around π₯°

* Remember, in the interest of maintaining your personal privacy, please refrain from sharing a screenshot of your desktop and merely share the image you have set as your wallpaper.
The challenge icon can be downloaded here – or here if you’d prefer a smaller file – or here if you would like a copy of the full image used above.

Oh, that is beautiful! The contrast of green and pink makes me think of the wild roses blooming in my yard right now. Thanks for reminding me to go take some photos before they’re done for the year. π

Thank you, Cathy. I do love these geraniums, and have just started working on a little garden just for them. Looking forward to seeing photos of your wild roses.

My Mother used to grow Pelargoniums in the kitchen window and one pair of Budgies that we had used to fly in there and play hide and seek among the plants π Anyway, enough of the memories, here’s my desktop – https://2e0mca.wordpress.com/2021/08/15/share-your-desktop-august-2021/

Thanx Martin. I’m starting to get a lovely collection and am in the middle of creating a new garden where they can all reside happily together. Thanx for sharing and joining the SYD fun.

It is a stunner – literally – but I have lots of others I’m hoping will bloom soon.

actually ignore that. I just changed it again! My bird was not focused enough on my second screen π¦ I decided I couldn’t live with it for the month. No matter I fortunately have a view I took the other day when we were collecting eggs and so I am using that instead π

Both photos look wonderful and I was very indecisive with mine as well because on my screen it also looks a little out of focus. (A lot of my photos are π)
