Having spent too much money on a tree for our backyard, (see Inspired by Tree Squares) recently I thought that I had over watered it, or perhaps, not watered it enough.
Even Dean asked if I still had the docket so I could let the nursery know they had sold me a dud.
As it turns out, this is not the case and both of us were worrying for no reason.
I can hardly wait to see it covered in gorgeous red leaves.

I have always wanted one, even though this is a smaller variety. All the same, I can hardly wait to see it covered in leaves.
