Bloganuary – Day 11

What does it mean to live boldly?

–⋅ o ♥ o ⋅–

To me, Living Boldly means to live without reservations.

To be free from hesitancy, doubt and indecisiveness.

It means to feel confident to tackle any challenge that comes your way.

To push fear aside and start living the life you want to live.

To put off procrastinating and just ‘get on with it’.

This is how I live a bold existence:

  • I wear bright colours and have said goodbye to basic black.
  • I have a hobby I love and get a lot of enjoyment out of it.
  • I trust myself and I trust my own judgements.
  • I give myself at least one hour every day (usually to go for a walk).
  • Within reason, I’ll say ‘Yes’ to new adventures or ideas.
  • But I’ve also learned to say ‘No’, and that it is ok to do so.

Without reservation, I jump in puddles (actually, I did so just this morning), I watch cartoons, I laugh out loud, sing off key, and cry when I’m sad. I hug everyone who steps inside my house, then hug them again when they’re leaving. (I almost hugged the TV Repair Man one day 😂.)

I love with all my heart and always tell the people I love that I love them.

What do you think?

Does this make my life bold?

Here’s my bold nails, and my (matching) bold purse.

(Apologises to those who saw this image a couple of days ago.)
