Today is another quote less day, but I’ve got a very odd-looking cake to share.
“There’s nothing odd about this cake!” I hear you say.
Well . . .
. . . this was the cake we had made for Dean when he turned 50 (a long, long time ago 😂) and we thought it rather spooky, strange, even rather odd, how much the fondant surfer looked just like Dean sitting on his surfboard.
And the cake decorator didn’t know Dean, nor did she have a photo of him to work from.

I was just recalling that it was a white chocolate (Mississippi ) mud cake, and it was the most delicious birthday cake – even Dean liked it and he’ll tell you he doesn’t like cake 😂 – but he loves cheesecake.
