I can hardly believe today is the 15th of the month.
Where has the time gone?
I guess it slips away or through your fingers when you’re not feeling well and the days begin to meld into one. But I am feeling much better (see I’m Back) although I’m still having the odd bout of feeling unwell.
On top of this, we’ve also been experiencing another rain event that has seen over 300 ml (12 inches) falling in the past nine or so days. We’ve been lucky, other areas received substantially more rain than we did and have (yet again) been flooded.
It’s nice to see the weather hasn’t prevented my Anthuriums from flowering. (Mine you, they are under cover where they don’t get rained on.)
It looks wonderful on my desktop.

Because being unwell has kept me offline, I was not in a position to share the Desktop Delights for April, so here are the amazing images that were shared with me last month.
Sassy shared a scanned photo of Fort Rock that her Dad he took when they lived in the Silver Lake area.
Brian shared a Long-necked Tortoise riding a Tortoise 😂 This photo is not what you might think, but it gave me a laugh when I saw it.
Cathy shared a photo that’s the end result of playing around with the photo app on her phone. The original is a photo of her son’s science project where he was putting drops of food colouring in bowls of hot and cold water.
Cee’s photo this month is of a group of elephant statues amid a field of greenery, each one with its trunk raised greeting friends and expressing happiness 🥰
Aletta’s desktop this month is a gorgeous photo of Cape Daisies (Osteospermum). I love all sorts of daisies.
Lisa at Weirds are Word shared an image that’s a combination of the books and a rose. I think there’s something hauntingly mysterious about the image.
This month, Martin’s back in his truck simulator and his desktop is an image from his run down to Porto Vecchio to catch the ferry to Marseille. Seriously, the image looks real.
Thank you, everyone. I feel so privileged to be able to see what you’re looking at.
