Share Your Desktop – June 2022

Given our weather has been so cold of late, I thought it was more than appropriate to take an image of my impressive Snowflake to set as my desktop. And I did – take a photo that is.

And then, I saw the Moon last night.

How beautiful is this?

I always feel so privileged to be able to point ‘n click and capture wonderful images of our natural satellite and the fact that this month’s full Moon is a Super Moon only increases my delight.

Here in the southern hemisphere, June’s full Moon is known as the Cold Moon because winter is no longer coming – winter is here.

(Although it’s also referred to by its northern hemisphere name – the Strawberry Moon.)

I love that I’ll be looking at this for the next month.

Because I’ve been so busy, once again, I’ve failed to share May’s Desktop Delights so here they are:

Brian was first off the blocks as usual (he does live in the same time zone) with a wonderful black and white shot of a Dancing Lady Hibiscus flower.

Ladysighs’ desktop this month is a quote from Sitting Bull. These are lovely wise words.

There were lots of lovely little Crassula Ovata blooms on Aletta’s desktop this month.

We had a newcomer this month – gfpacificbeeintrospection – who posted a beautiful image from Crosscards.com containing Psalm 43:5, Put your hope in God.

Martin was back on the road again but this time driving Smoky Bennet in the American truck simulator.

Cee’s desktop scrolls through her (impressive) collection of flower photos and this month she shared three delightful images from her collection.

Cathy shared a photo she took of her beautiful boys when they spent the weekend in Anchorage and were (finally) able to see The Piano Guys.

Thank you, everyone.
