Desktop Delights – June 2022

Finally, I have my act together, I’m posting this on time, and encourage you to take a look at the delightful desktops the following bloggers have shared.

My Moon desktop spoilt Brian’s plans this month, so he changed tactics and posted a delightful image of a Supurb Fairy Wren and Red-browed Firetail Finch sharing the bird bath.

Ladysighs had actually combined her June desktop with a Color Challenge earlier and shared it back on June 5. I’m glad she let me know she did, it’s a Nautical Blue + 50 Shades of Blue.

The gorgeous Poppies on Cathy’s desktop this month couldn’t be further from Frost on the Moose Dung (the name of her blog). I’m pleased she is experiencing warmer weather.

Martin surprised me this month with images from two desktops. On his new Gaming PC, he has a screenshot from The Hunter – Call of the Wild (game), and on his Photography PC he has a photo taken at Clapham Junction on a very wet morning.

As she did last month, Cee shared another three photos that have cycled through her desktop this month, each photo is as stunning as the others.

Self has just returned from a trip overseas and, while in London, she took a photo of the doors to The Penn Club. These doors were closed forever in 2020.

Aletta shared a photo of a flower from her garden. I had to ask what it is – it’s Salvia Aurea, a sage plant. I was intrigued by its terracotta-coloured flowers.

Thank you, everyone. As usual, I enjoyed seeing what you’re looking at.

On July 15, I’ll share the new image on my desktop.

Although, as usual, when I’m viewing something lunar . . .

. . . I will find it difficult to say goodbye to June’s Full Moon.

It looks so good on my desktop.
And it’s so easy on my light-sensitive eyes.

Anyway, you don’t have to wait until July 15 if you want to share your desktop. You can do so and join in anytime.

  1. Share the photo* you have set as your wallpaper;
  2. Provide as little or as much detail as you wish;
  3. Comment on my post for June or use a pingback; and
  4. Share the fun around 🥰
