Desktop Delights – July 2022

I can hardly believe it’s August 15 and I’ve not posted anything since July 15.

Truth be told, life has kept me hard at work, toiling over lots of ‘life admin’ and, although I’ve thought about posting, I’ve just not found the time to do so. OMG, I’ve hardly even picked up my camera, let alone used the camera on my iPhone. I do plan to do something about that.

As is the purpose of this post I’ve had in my draft folder for at least three weeks, the following lovely people and their wonderful desktops warrant mentioning.

Liz shared the Cuban Coffee Queen in Key West, Florida. It’s bright and colourful and just makes me smile.

In celebration of Bastille Day, Brian shared a photo of Pont Alexandre 111 over the Seine River.

Cee share another three of the beautiful images that scrolled across her desktop recently – including an incredible ‘orange’ ship.

Martin shared (what I’ll call) Virtual vs Reality – a screenshot from a game called X4’s and a photo taken on Brompton Road.

Sassy shared an image that I’m sure Martin would be thrilled to see – a wonderful shot of The McCloud No. 25  steam locomotive coming into Rockaway Beach.

With rain in the forecast, Cathy decided to switch to a sunny, spring photo. It’s gorgeous and I hope it did the trick.

Aletta shared a photo of the view from Seekombuis Sea Kitchen at Tieties Bay in South Africa. It’s such a bright and sunny photo.

Thank you to everyone who joined in on the SYD fun in July. As usual, I enjoy seeing what you’re looking at and look forward to seeing the delights you have in store this month.

Now to my confession. I’ve changed my desktop three times since July 15. In fact, I created a new folder, populated it with the images I wanted to view then set my desktop to change daily.

Why?

Because the images from the James Webb Telescope are too good to not look at.

Later today, I’ll share the new image on my desktop.

I’d be delighted if you joined in on the fun.
