Why do you write?
I guess my answer/response to this prompt will be much the same as everyone else’s. Or at least, much the same as many people who ‘blog’.
My blog is where I come to share my thoughts.
I don’t write anywhere else these days, just here on my blog. And yet, if you are not new to reading one of my posts, you’ll already know that my blog is a bit of a cosmos (hence the name). It’s my own personal galaxy of thoughts and creativity – my eclectic, yet well-ordered, collection of all things Clare.
I write about all manner of things that grab my attention – from what’s happening in my life, to what’s growing in my garden or being created in my kitchen.
A system (or space) for documenting my thoughts because, as I get older, it has become important for me to do that – to share the secrets inside my heart and leave little pieces of myself behind.
Because I believe I have stories worth telling.

Oh yes, and there was something I should have added to my list yesterday . . .
. . . I love the colour purple and anything purple brings me joy.

I love that so much. It’s why I blog as well, leaving messages in bottles and throwing them out to sea.

Thank you, Michelle, 🥰 I too love your idea of throwing messages in bottles out to sea.
