I love the photos Cee shares of Bearded Irises.
The photo she shared a few days ago was particularly breathtaking in its beauty (you can see that lovely photo here) and in conversation with Cee, I said I should share some photos of the Irises I captured when in Melbourne late last year. So, here they are.
These photos were taken while walking around Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens.





Not all of them were bearded.


But for sure, all of them were beautiful.

Yes for sure all of these are ever so gorgeous. The first non-bearded iris I believe is a Japanese iris. Thanks so much for bringing this joy to my eyes this morning 😀

You are most welcome, Cee 🥰 I thought about you when I was photographing them and, although lots of flowers make me think of you, Bearded Irises are foremost at the top of the list.

It took me years to figure out how to take good photos of them. Now I really enjoying photographing them and I’ve always liked them 😀
