Describe the happiest day of your life.
There really have been so many it’s hard to pick just one and I’m grateful I have a beautiful big bouquet of days when happiness has shone brighter than usual.
The first time I got 100% on an exam or assignment.
Blitzing an interview and getting my first job.
The day a gorgeous man asked me out on a date. The day he asked me to marry him and the day we promised to love each other through thick and thin.

There’s the births of our children, their first steps, their first words, watching them reach their own goals and grow into responsible adults, spending time with them even if it’s just via a phone or video call, but for sure, seeing them in person.

Moving into our first home, our first family holiday, every family holiday, getting the keys to our new home – the list goes on, and on.

But every day there are moments of pleasure and contentment.
Seeing a glorious sunrise or watching a magnificent sunset.

Listening to the birds sing, hearing the gentle patter of rain.
Gazing up at the Moon (regardless of its current phase).

Yes, my list is long because I think it’s vital to hang onto moments of joy, be they big or small, and keep them safe. They are life’s most precious treasures.

Just this morning, my youngest daughter sent me the following quote.
