What colour describes your personality and why?
Violet, amethyst, lavender or lilac.
Plum, grape, magenta or majestic.
Royal, mauve or maroon.
Mulberry, pomegranate, orchid or wine.
Call it what you want, it’s all Purple to me.
(I SAID THAT!)
Traditionally, purple is associated with royalty, majesty, or nobility. It has a mysterious spiritual quality about it and, while the darker shades often represent luxury or opulence, the lighter shades such as lavender are feminine, sentimental, and even nostalgic.
I’m drawn to it and love it in any shape, shade or shadow.
Colour psychology isn’t black and white (thank goodness) but I do love purple’s balance of red’s stimulation (determined, demanding, competitive, strong-willed, and driven) and blue’s calming properties (logical, organised, analytical, questioning, and cautious).
This describes me perfectly.
Purple is unique and exotic . . .
. . . and yet people tend to either really love it or really hate it.
I love it!

Did you know purple does not often occur in nature?
Perhaps that’s why it’s considered exotic.
