What would you title the chapters of your autobiography?
Well, firstly, I’d have to give my autobiography a title.
Scraped Knees & Other Growing Pains
And then fill it with fabulous stories.
Nineteen Sixty-Nine – A most significant year – but not the one I was born.
Scraped Knees – Growing up and all the mishaps I encountered.
Growing Pains – Leaving school and home, getting a job and making my own way.
Loving Living and Laughing – Meeting Dean and falling in love.
A Reimagined Childhood – Being a mother and watching my children grow.
My Room with No View – Losing myself in a job that demanded too much of me.
Learning to Fly – Being me and finding my way again.
Our Trip of a Lifetime – Just that, a two-year trip we took around Australia.
Where’s the Mop? – How we made money for more than five years.
My Garden – The yet-to-be-written retirement chapter.

. . . I’ve already put some of these chapters into words.
And of course . . .
. . . the reason I started blogging.

Your title and chapters sound perfect. Not sure if it’s something I’m doing wrongly but I can’t get the links to work.

I’ll double check them, Sue. I guess I did something – I was a little distracted 🥹

Try them now, Sue – I’ve added them in a different manner.

Thanks for that Clare, the links are working for me now. So many similar memories though I’m quite a bit older than you. 🙂
