Bloganuary – Day 31

(Last day today.)

Where is the best place to watch the sunset near you?

I just love all manner of colours in the sky as the Sun dips below the horizon and the addition of a little H2O only enhances the spectacle.

The best sunset we’ve ever witnessed was at Cottesloe Beach in Perth, Western Australia – it’s not exactly near me, but it is in my part of the world.

Sunset Cottesloe Beach – Perth, Western Australia – April 2009

Cottesloe Beach is a mere 4,388 kilometres (2,726+ miles) from where I live, but Dean and I have been there twice and on both occasions enjoyed a breathtaking sunset.

Here, where we live on the east coast of Australia, is an amazing place to capture the sunrise.

And yet, I have captured a few magnificent sunsets in Queensland. You just need to be in the right place at the right time. (It’s a little blurry but wonderful all the same.)

Sunrise or sunset, no matter where you are, I think all that’s needed is a little H2O to make it a great one. (Although, most of these following sunsets were captured in Western Australia.)

I’ve had a great time, once again, joining in on the Bloganuary fun.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my (sometimes quirky) responses to the prompts.

Perhaps Bloganuary will be back again next year.
