What’s your favorite candy?
I must admit, at different times in my life, I have favoured different sorts of ‘candy’.

As a young child, it was Cherry Ripe – because my uncle would always pretend he had a little birdy friend who left them on the window sill – but only when we’d been good.
As I got a little older, it was Golden Rough, because I loved the crunch of the roasted coconut.

I remember loving Violet Crumble because:
“It’s the way it shatters that matters.”
There have been many favourites over the years.
And I’m getting a sense that it’s the ‘chocolate’ that attracts me.

But, unequivocally, (at the moment anyway) it’s Cadbury’s (Fry’s) Turkish Delight.

I admit I don’t like Turkish Delight that isn’t coated in milk chocolate because I find the rose water too overpowering. But there is something oh so lovely about the addition of a milk chocolate coating mixed and that soft, gooey pink centre containing just a hint of rose water.
Best of all though, Dean does not like Turkish Delight so I’m always assured that if a box of chocolates makes its way into our home, these divinely, deliciously, and delectable little delights are all mine.
Oh yeah, I stole all of these images from various online candy stores.
Oh my… we don’t have any of these in the USA. They all look delicious!

Oh Miss Nancy, that makes me so sad because they are all so delightful 🥰 especially if you have a sweet tooth and like chocolate that contains a little extra something.

I forgot to mention that I make my own these days. But not too often 😂
